I am able to improve your child’s understanding and raise their attainment in English (reading, writing, grammar and spelling), maths and science from Reception to Year 6. I also offer tuition in French and Spanish. I can tutor a combination of subjects, or just one subject as all lessons are tailored to the individual child’s learning needs. I will endeavour to boost your child’s confidence in their weaker areas as I believe that a positive mindset contributes to success. I always plan engaging and interactive lessons that your child will enjoy as ultimately, learning should be fun!

I have been preparing children for the 11+ exam for fifteen years so I am very familiar with the areas that need to be covered for success in both the Berkshire CEM and Buckinghamshire GL 11+ exams. I offer individual tuition where I cover all the English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning essential for exam success. I provide all books as well as homework where appropriate. I aim to teach children effective strategies for answering 11+ style questions and we also work on exam technique, particularly time management. I also provide revision materials so that children sit the exam feeling as prepared and confident as possible.
Independent School Entrance Exams
I am very familiar with the entrance exams for a number of independent schools across Berkshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire. I ensure that my teaching is specifically tailored to your son or daughter’s desired school. Most recently, I have successfully tutored children for entry into St George’s College Weybridge, Reading Blue Coat School, Queen Anne’s School, The Marist School and The Abbey.
